Airfryer apple turnovers
Who can resist warm, golden apple turnovers straight from the airfryer? With just a few simple ingredients and the Point-Virgule silicone airfryer liners with handles, you can make crispy, sweet pastries in no time. Choose between square turnovers or half-moon shapes: both bake perfectly in the airfryer!
How to make?
-
Preheat your airfryer to 180°C.
-
Mix the diced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.
-
Cut the puff pastry into squares for square turnovers or circles for half-moons.
-
Place some apple filling in the center of each piece. Fold over into a rectangle or half-moon and press the edges firmly with a fork to seal.
-
Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
-
Place the turnovers on your Point-Virgule silicone airfryer liner and bake for 10–12 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
-
Let cool slightly before serving: the filling will be hot!
Why use the Point-Virgule silicone airfryer liner?
Both the square and round silicone bases are perfect for pastries: they prevent sticking, allow even browning, and the handles make removal safe and easy. Foldable design means you save space in your kitchen too!
Pro tip: Sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top before serving for that classic bakery look. Delicious with a cup of coffee or as a quick dessert!
